What is Invisalign?
Invisalign uses clear aligners to correct mis-alignment of patients’ teeth. It is minimally invasive, predictable and has been used in millions of cases worldwide. Several of our clinicians are accredited Invisalign providers.
The process
In order to assess how invisalign can benefit our patients, the practice has invested heavily in the latest technology, including a state-of-the art intra-oral scanner.
This remarkable technology allows us to take a 3D scan of our patient’s teeth. We can then immediately provide a simulation of what your teeth could look like following treatment.
We are even able to integrate this with photos of our patients so they can see what they would look like after treatment!
How long will it take?
The length of a case depends on many factors, though in our experience most patients can expect to finish treatment between 6-9 months.
Can I whiten my teeth too?
Absolutely! Our Invisalign package includes complimentary whitening which is conducted at the end of the straightening phase of treatment. Your dentist will be able to tell you more about this at your free consultation.
Will my teeth go back to the way they were?
During the planning phase of your treatment, your dentist will discuss with you the steps we will take to ensure we minimise the risk of any relapse. We do this through having a thorough protocol of retention to prevent the teeth moving after treatment. And, just like the whitening, this retention is included free as part of your invisalign package.
